Operating Safety Case and Operations Manual Writing Terms and Conditions
1. Scope of Terms
These Terms and Conditions apply to the provision of the services detailed in our quotation (Services) by Ian Titchener, trading as Drone Docs, whose principal place of business is 18 King Edgar Close, Ely, Cambridge, CB6 1DP (we or us), to the person or entity purchasing the services (you).
2. Acceptance of Terms
You are deemed to have accepted these Terms and Conditions when you accept our quotation or from the date of any performance of the Services, whichever occurs earlier. These Terms and Conditions and our quotation (the Contract) constitute the entire agreement between us.
3. Entire Agreement
You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise, or representation made or given by or on our behalf that is not set out in the Contract. These Terms apply to the Contract to the exclusion of any other terms that you seek to impose, incorporate, or which may be implied by trade, custom, practice, or course of dealing.
Interpretation
4. Definitions

A "business day" means any day other than a Saturday, Sunday, or public holiday in the United Kingdom.
5. Headings

The headings in these Terms and Conditions are for convenience only and do not affect interpretation.
6. Singular and Plural

Words imparting the singular shall include the plural and vice versa.
Services
7. Service Quality
We warrant that we will use reasonable care and skill in our performance of the Services, which will comply with the quotation, including any specifications, in all material respects. We may make changes to the Services to comply with applicable laws or safety requirements and will notify you of any such changes.
8. Timeframes
We will use reasonable endeavours to complete the Services within the time agreed or as set out in the quotation; however, time shall not be of the essence.
9. Applicability
These Terms apply to the supply of any related goods as well as Services unless otherwise specified.
10. Non-Guarantee of CAA Acceptance
We provide no guarantee that the Operating Safety Case, Operations Manual, or other documentation produced will be accepted by the Civil Aviation Authority (CAA) or any other regulatory body. Acceptance is subject to their review, interpretation, and requirements, which are beyond our control.
Your Obligations
11. Provision of Information
You must provide any permissions, consents, licences, information, materials, or access necessary for us to perform the Services.
12. Non-Compliance
If you fail to comply with Clause 11, we may terminate the Services, and we are not liable for any resulting delays or failures.
Fees
13. Fee Structure
The fees (Fees) for the Services are set out in the quotation on a time and materials basis.
14. Additional Costs
In addition to the Fees, we may recover from you: a) Reasonable incidental expenses, such as travel, subsistence, and accommodation costs.
b) Costs of third-party services required for the performance of the Services.
c) Costs of materials used in the provision of the Services.
15. Additional Services
You must pay for any additional services beyond those specified in the quotation at our applicable hourly rate or as otherwise agreed.
16. Taxes
The Fees are inclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes or levies imposed by authorities.
Cancellation and Amendment
17. Quotation Validity
We may withdraw, cancel, or amend a quotation if not accepted or if Services have not commenced within 5 business days of issuance.
18. Cancellation Before Acceptance
Either party may cancel an order for any reason prior to acceptance or rejection of the quotation.
19. Amendments
Requests to amend the Services must be made in writing. We will use reasonable endeavours to accommodate changes, with additional costs added to the Fees.
20. Changes Beyond Control
If circumstances beyond our control necessitate changes to the Services or how they are delivered, we will notify you immediately and endeavour to minimise the impact.
General
21. Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for any delays, failures, or damages arising from your failure to fulfil obligations under this Contract.
22. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the United Kingdom.
